This beautifully written and brightly illustrated book candidly explains pregnancy and childbirth. Told through the eyes of little Elizabeth, who is happily awaiting the birth of her sibling, she describes the monthly progress of her mother's pregnancy, explains how babies are conceived, the birth process, and her joy at having another member added to her family. My Mom's Having a Baby! is a wonderful resource for parents who want to introduce a new pregnancy or explain the facts of life to their children. Recommended for children in grades 2-4 by Booklist.
