Julie's Science Blog

We'd like to welcome Julie Bender to our crew! Julie is a sophomore at Bowdoin College, and she will be spending the summer working with Cornerstones of Science. She will be helping out in the office, in the classroom, and in the field.

At Bowdoin, Julie is planning to major in Biology. As of now, she plans on heading to medical school after college, with hopes of working with children. She especially enjoys learning and teaching about the human body, and is currently working on a Human Body Education Trunk for our partner libraries!

Be sure to look for Julie at your next Cornerstones of Science program! If you see her, ask about her sheep, horses, and chickens at home?she'd love to share stories! Welcome to our team, Julie!

Also, check out her blog, The Science of Coastal Maine
