Curtis Library Telescope Program - Meet Galileo, the new telescope

Meet "Galileo" - the new library telescope

 

When:  6:30 pm, April 19, 2012

What: A brief introduction followed by a hands-on training

Guest speaker: Ron Thompson, "Astro Ron" - Amateur Astronomer and member of Southern Maine Astronomers

Where: Curtis Memorial Library, Brunswick, Maine

For:  Adults, teens and children age 10+

 

*Caution to parents: Stargazing is highly addictive and may lead to an appreciation of the night sky and sense of wonder about the universe. Repeated activity may result in lifelong learning, astronomy clubs and/or careers in science.
