Directions to Curtis Memorial Library


From the North or South on I-295
Take I-295 Exit 28 (Brunswick Route 1 / Coastal Route, old I-95 exit 22). Go east on Route 1 (Pleasant Street). At the third light continue straight where Route 1 turns left. Pleasant Street then becomes one-way. Curtis Library is 2½ long blocks down Pleasant St. on the right, across from the Post Office, between Union and Middle Streets. Library parking is available off of Union Street. Limited on-street parking is available on Middle Street.

From the North on Routes 201, 196 & 24
Drive through Topsham on Route 24 (Main St.), over the bridge into Brunswick where the road becomes Maine Street. Turn right on the ramp to Route 1 South. After a short block, keep to the left and take the first left onto Cushing Street. Continue straight on Cushing to the end. Turn left on Pleasant Street (one-way). The library is on the right across from the Post Office between Union and Middle Streets. Library parking is available off of Union Street. Limited on-street parking is available on Middle Street.


From the East on Route 1
Continue on Route 1 into Brunswick, under the overpass. After a short block, keep to the left and take the first left onto Cushing Street. Continue straight on Cushing to the end. Turn left on Pleasant Street (one-way). The library is on the right across from the Post Office between Union and Middle Streets. Library parking is available off of Union Street. Limited on-street parking is available on Middle Street.


From the East on Route 24 and Cooks Corner

Follow Route 24 west (Old Bath Road); bear right at the church, and merge onto Maine Street after the yield sign. Turn left onto Elm Street. At the first stop sign, either turn right on Middle Street for on-street parking or continue on Elm, then turn right on Union Street to the library parking lot.
