First to Fly:
How Wilbur and Orville Wright Invented the Airplane

by Peter Busby

Book Review

The book I read was First To Fly: How Wilbur and Orville Wright Invented the Airplane by Peter Busby. It was a very good book. The author did a marvelous job.

I really liked the book because the information was clear and not confusing. I learned a lot about the Wright brothers. For example, they were in the bicycle business. The brothers first became interested in flying when they were young and their father gave them a flying toy. Their first plane flew only twelve seconds. The illustrations were well organized and went well with the information on the page. The colors and design were appealing. There were paintings by David Craig and authentic historical photographs and diagrams.

I would recommend this book to others. I would give it four and one half stars because nothing is perfect!
