Antarctic Ice
by Jim Mastro & Norbert Wu
Antarctic Ice by Jim Mastro and Norbert Wu is amazing. When I open this book, I feel like I am on a trip to Antarctica. It tells about all the animals that live there.

The colorful photographs of animals are like portraits. The designs are good with large white letters on a black background. Jim Mastro spent many years in Antarctica studying the animals and their habitat. Some of the words are too hard for first and second graders.

I would give Antarctic Ice four stars out of five because little kids might not understand it and third and up could understand it more, maybe.
