The Secret Family: Twenty-four Hours Inside the Mysterious World of Our Minds and Bodies
by David Bodanis

Review
The routines of twenty-four hours in the lives of a family of five; mother, father, daughter, son and infant will never seem the same after reading "The Secret Family." Bodanis offers a microscopic examination of mind and body, bacteria, microbe and hormone. From brushing hair and drinking orange juice in the morning to putting a head on the dust-mite, ridden pillow at night, Bodanis offers more detail about the science of the unseen world than perhaps the reader will want to know."The Secret Family" is interesting, appalling and has stunning illustration, mostly microphotographs. Recommended for general audiences and teens, but not for the squeamish. This book has had several reprints as paperbacks.
