One With Nineveh:
Politics, Consumption, and the Human Future
by Paul Ehrlich & Anne Ehrlich

Annotation
Scientists Paul and Anne Ehrlich provide a timely warning and a call to action in hope of steering our civilization from a fall so like that of the Mesopotamians. They address overpopulation, over consumption, and economic and political imbalances. Thoughtfully written, they do not leave the reader anxious without providing proposed action toward solutions on the local to global scale.
