Book Review

The Most Beautiful Roof in the World
is unusual in that it tells a story about the life of a woman scientist in the rainforest. It is written in "story-type" format and focuses on what life is like for her, what she studies (including some technical information) and how her children are involved. The book is well done, interesting and has high quality photographs.

~ Maria Palopoli, Science Teacher, Brunswick Junior High School

The Most Beautiful Roof in the World
has a nice introduction to rarely taught material. There is not much depth, but is a fun read.

~ Marjorie Tennyson, Science Teacher, Hall-Dale School, Hallowell

I thought this was a good book beacause it had lots of photographs and detail about the rainforest. It also had kids in the book!

~ Bip. N., student, Hawthorne School, Brunswick
