Book Review
By now a dozen of this series of internationally-produced visual
books on particular topics have appeared, all excellent. Page after
page is filled with related photographs and artwork, each with a
clear, concise label. The effect is that of visiting among the cases
of a rich and well-arranged museum. The book on mammals transcends
most of the others. ... comparative pages here includes living mammals
in action; the book has become museum and zoo all in one.
