Book Review

This excellent book describes nutrient cycling in the forest by telling the life and death of an oak tree.

~ Anne Hayden, Natural Resources Consultant, author

A simple and artistic introduction to the cycle of life, death, decay and new life of an oak tree in the forest. A Log’s Life is appropriate for very young readers and their parents. It explains processes easily visible in a forest walk.

~ Linda Oliver, Reference Librarian, Curtis Memorial Library
