Cricketology
by Michael Elson Ross

Book Review

Most of us recall lengthy free concerts on crickety summer nights, and many know that cricket house guests have been watched and welcomed for a thousand years in China. They never bite or sting, and if your backyard hunt does not soon reveal one, you can buy a cricket at a bait or pet shop. This book combines a gentle view of insect husbandry with a wonderfully kid-centered batch of questions to put to your crickets that you may come to know them better.

Cricketology is a complicated and exciting study, full of fun, and kids can advance it and themselves.
