Your Written Review:
Please use the standard writing format of introduction, body & conclusion. We recommend keeping your review to no more than 300 words. Please use the information below to help guide your writing. You may also find that reading a posted review will help get you started on your review. Go to an adult book review // Go to a children & youth book review

Introduction
Give a brief overview of the book and your overall impression. Include the title and author in this first paragraph.
Body
Expand on the statement(s) you made in the introduction. Explain your opinion with several examples. Tell why you liked or disliked the book. Discuss its strengths and weaknesses. Consider the writing style. Is the information clear and well presented, or is it confusing? Does the book lead you through the information in an organized way? Is new information explained before additional information is introduced? Does the book make you want to learn more about the topic?

Discuss the illustrations or pictures. Do they help to clarify the information presented in the book? Are they clear and easy to see, or too cluttered with too much visual information, or too small? Are the colors accurate and appealing? How would you improve them?

Is a glossary, list of additional related reading, or sources for more information included in the book? If so, was this information useful to you? Do you plan to look into the information or read some of the related books?

Conclusion
End the review by restating your overall opinion of the book. Would you give this a five out of five star rating? If not, what number would you give it? Would you recommend this book to your friends? Mention in writing if you think it should be a Cornerstone.
